As we age we need to stay strong , You might say ,  But why?  We don’t have to look like a body builder.
Nor do we have to be Muscle Bound. to reap the benefits of a strong Body .

As we age Our Body loses muscle mass. That is just the fact of life. That can be changed, by doing some strength training exercises.

Strength training will help your muscles  grow without necessarily bulking up. When you challenge  your body it  strengthen and stretches your muscles.  If you don’t want to look like a body builders and and just want a lean body than you just  don’t lift as much weight as a body builder We  older adults can lift more weight than they think. It just takes time and a little practice.

Your bones will be stronger, which will help to resist fractures and breaks if you do happen to fall. The  back hump of osteoporosis won’t likely be your fate.

4.Weight loss – Muscle burns fat, even at rest. By adding a strength training component to build muscle, you will burn calories and maintain a healthy weight, and even lose weight if that is a problem you have.

5.Reduced joint pain – Are you suffering from aches and pains in the joints? Strength training can minimize pain as your bones become denser and your muscles grow. You may even notice that arthritis pain has lessened.
